Jonathan Keenan Photography: This time last night I was out in the rain on the #space4cycling ride around the Conservative Conference in #Manchester. This is John Townsend showing us how to do it in style; Dutch bike and brolly. Just the way you’d see in all sorts of Dutch cities where there is infrastructure to enable people of all ages and ability to ride in safety. The city was gridlocked making staying together difficult but it made the point about the need for better provision for cyclists all the more poignant. Over 200 of us made a circuit that a single car would have taken 3x longer to complete.
