One of my favourite images from yesterday's @rxtheatre production shoot. The Rolling Stone tackles head on the subject of a gay relationship in Uganda. It does so with some great, powerful and humorous writing and beautiful acting. I would recommend it. World Premiere of The Rolling Stone written by Chris Urch, Directed by Ellen McDougall. Cast: Fiston Barek, Robert Gilbert, Sule Rimi, Ony Uhiara, Faith Omole, Donna Berlin. “Dembe and Sam have been seeing each other for a while. The consequences of their relationship being discovered will be violent and explosive. Back from Stockport with malt for home brew beer. Maris Otter Pale Malt, Wheat Malt and Chocolate Malt. The basis of an 'ordinary bitter' I hope to get going sometime in the next few days. Pastel de nata and a Flat White @federalcafebar this morning. Bliss after the bike ride in. The swirl is what's left of the latte art after a stir. I like the effect. Currently in an argument with @hubnorth about Pastel de nata and custard tarts, I'm a big fan of this Portuguese version, she favours the traditional English egg custard. Many months of tasting tests will be required to settle the argument. #Food #Coffee #JKP #PastelDeNata #Nata

Faint with excitement to get my old #BSA A65 Lightening back home. It's been a long, long time. Needs a ton of work again but at least it's close to hand now. Not sure if I'll have any time soon but seeing it every day is going to help. Love the lines of the engine and crank case. Ace bars and up swept exhaust pipes look fantastic and only need a wipe over with an oily rag (ish). Despite it's retro cool this was yesterday's short straw for the ride to #DunhamMassey The #Raleigh 20 Stowaway is a great bike but not a canal tow path mile muncher. Resulted in a trip to local bike shop to look at alternatives for middle child this morning. These bikes make a very interesting basis for customisation but this one was too nice in its original state, complete with 70's stickers. With a little effort they pack down well and we took this one away to France in the boot of the car once, along with the somewhat more refined Brompton. Had to leave the carrier and mud guards at home but it made a great bike for trips out to the local shops for emergency croissant supplies and a family day out touring the coast. #Shopper #Raleigh20 #RetroBike #Stowaway #Bikes #Cycling

First sheering of the grass/moss/dirt/twig farm/dog bog of the year. #Garden looking marginally improved and resident Robin delighted at the unexpected feast of previously hidden critters and worms... Meanwhile I avoid further cores by taking a picture of the orange mower cable in the dappled sunlight.
